Thanks,.🎉
Brian, this is one of my favorite episodes. Aside from the domino 500 this is Festool’s other genius product. The applications are nearly endless. Would love to see what more you could do with it. Pocono Joe.
The sound on this makes it unwatchable
Where are the files for the Shaper Origin? Great content once again..
nice
The caption is misspelled.
Embarrassing mask wearer!
Was this off by a 1/16 of an inch or is that accurate enough? Or just the camera angle didn’t capture the cuts well? That is about 1.6mm off. I normally find using a parallel guide and a quad hinge system to give me accuracy that tape measures can’t detect. Just wondering why things are off slightly. If my calculations are right, the angle is off by 0.1°, I am guessing parallel clamps are not calibrated properly. Over an 8ft rip cut, this would create an error of 4.2mm assuming the pieces cut were 3ft long. If the error is caused by the hinge system, measurements will differ. If the error is caused by both the parallel guide and hinge system, the measurements will differ again and be the error be smaller. The question which should be talked about, because newer woodworkers would get bogged down with these details is accuracy vs consistency? As long as the errors are good enough, the project will be good enough. If accuracy is required, calibration of the track saw on the track, the blade, the toe, the hinge to fence, parallel guides all have to be meticulously checked and taken care of. Rechecked every few cuts.

"Did you guys get the common thread?" Really! You should be punished. Do the five Bluetooth devices include batteries?
Great tips on the carvex. I always learn something new from your videos. Thanks from Perth Australia…
Hi Clint, question I see you are from Perth, I am heading down in November and to see family, but I was wondering if you knew of anything happening in woodworking, shows, anything. Thanks
Great Tips!!
I can’t believe this guy represents Festool. I find the format and presentation really annoying.
what’s the best grit sand paper for drywall what’s the p320 for
what gritt do you recommend
When can I get a TS60 with a plug-it cord?
I just made my own. You just need a replacement plugit receptacle, and the US version of the TS60 already has the mounting points included, so its a pretty easy swap.
this is the BEST presentation for this saw....also love how it all goes back into the sustainer! super clever
I’ve had an angle stop now for quite a while now and I must say it’s the only piece of festool that I’m disappointed with. Not very accurate you always have to check the angle. In fact I just don’t use it because of this.
Is it true 60 only comes in metric at this time? Are either set of wings interchangeable? Any positive stops in bevel for 60? Thanks
и...!?
Does it stop dust from filling the air as much? I don’t get how it goes in the bag with out suction like from the vacuum attachment
Can you use it for initial flattening of new wood floors?
So much gobble-gobble. Just get to the point already.
Is there a set of plans available?
Please tell me this will be available for the of 1400 aswell?!
5:15 My Cousin Vinny reference!
The grinder battery life is shockingly bad to the point of being useless apart from for hobbyists., wtf have festool done to make it so bad🤔. DeWalt/Makita last 3/4 times longer.
I seem to be missing something on My Festool I can't find Plans 😕😕
7:10 💀
Mine came in last night and I registered it tonight. Will be taking myself through test cuts this weekend!
You'll love it. It's a fantastic tool, a true game changer.
Thanks, you must have known I just purchased the FS Domino. Gets delivered Saturday June 22 😁
It would be nice to have some kind of integrated chip collector that still worked with the light. I could always switch back and forth but it would be nice to not have to do that.
Where's the setup guide then, my fsk rails not square, neithers my blade & you didn't demonstrate how to tighten the guides...
Larry from Monterey, TN
Isn't there 3 set position on the domino? One for tight fit One for loose fit What's the third one for?
Real losses
Hello from Budapest. If possible, made a video about kapex 120 calibration. Thanks.
Mike from Winterville NC
I have a confession to make. Sometimes I turn the cut width knob while the machine isn't running. Sorry.
lol thought you are making a cheese board.
1.5 seater?
I like the clamping feature. Never saw that demo before.
Nice making, nice attitude... I from India.
Okay. While I enjoy Sedge’s energy at times, he makes it VERY difficult to follow along and actually learn how to use products because he thinks he’s doing some sort of sham-wow infomercial or an episode of Emeril Live. I just want to get a detailed look at the product, not sold a used car. Festool’s reputation is as solid as they come. It’s okay to tone it down in order to focus on what you’re actually talking about. He tried to do so much in this video I’m not sure if I learned anything and will have to watch it several more times just to learn how to set up my router. That kinda bummed me since he kept talking about how simple everything is supposed to be. I did not come away from this video feeling that way.
Does the new light module work with Festool 486242 Chip Deflector?
I live in an apartment with minimal space and minimal wall outlet power. I have a total of 4 18v batteries and have yet to run out of juice during a project. I also have an Airstream rapid battery charger which works great with this application. This is by far one of my favorite Festool products this far. If you need a saw with 120v wall power, this saw isn't for you.
Haha same here. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment, my 2nd bedroom is my shop. This is the first tool ever that I legit love. I wish Festool would come up with some accessories for it. I had to buy accessories from other brands instead.
@Benmeglei1 What type of accessories?
@@pwhsbuild So far, there's: Bow FP5 featherboard, Benchdog Tools fence, TSO Rip Fence and Incra miter gauge.
Festool. Howdy?. super~ beautiful ~🤝
I have one and a second set of batteries. The batteries charge fast and I have never had a no power issue. I had high expectations for the saw. They were exceeded. I would recommend the ripping blade for some applications.
Hi, I was considering this saw and I can appreciate you got another set of batteries so you can work constantly but what about the cordless extension? That needs batteries too
@@danthechippie4439 I have a CT15 for dust extraction and my sanders and other corded tools use its outlet. Then I have an outlet for my Festool charger, which quickly charges up a pair of batteries. When I first set the saw up, it stuck me how this saw is an incredible value, it is marvel of design and function. Also I can not imagine needing more power than a spare set of batteries provide. Like a track saw, you need to use the right blade for the application, hence a ripping blade was needed.
@RonGuilbault hi, thank you for the reply. I hear what your saying.
No power adapter, no buy
I think Festool really ought to either release a version with a removeable power cord like they use for their routers, jig-saws, etc; OR have some type of mains adaptor which plugs into the battery slot(s) like what Hitachi/Hikoki does with their battery-powered table saw. It seems only natural since this tool will likely be paired with their M-Class dust extractors, and most tradesmen will likely have the mains corded version of that tool.
